The Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Abkhazia is the central body of state administration, implementing state policy in tourism activities, accountable, controlled and responsible to the Cabinet of Ministers (Government) of the Republic of Abkhazia.

In its activities, the Ministry is guided by the Constitution of the Republic of Abkhazia, the laws of the Republic of Abkhazia, acts of the President of the Republic of Abkhazia, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Abkhazia, international treaties of the Republic of Abkhazia, as well as the Regulations.
